Talk at Markham Library – Parenting in the Digital Age

Managing children’s social media and AI usage often feels like a constant battle over restrictions. Parents frequently find themselves caught between enforcing rules and maintaining a positive, healthy relationship with their children. In this talk, Kids Rights Canada will explore with you how to guide children and youth toward becoming responsible internet users. We will discuss common conflicts over screen time and demonstrate how these moments can be transformed into powerful educational opportunities.

Parents will walk away with practical skills and the language needed to foster open dialogue, helping their children grow into resilient and responsible digital citizens.
